OneSolidarity New Roots – English Connection – Session 2

NOVEMBER 1, 2025 – OneSolidarity’s NewRoots English Connection once again brought people together on Saturday, November 1, — this time diving into “Navigating Workplace Challenges, Growing Together!”

Even though some of our regular members were away to Canada for the holidays, new faces arrived just in time to fill the room with energy and warmth! Laughter echoed as everyone couldn’t help but burst out laughing at the genuinely funny and heartfelt stories being shared.

“It’s not just English practice,” said participant Momo. “It’s a space where we learn, listen, support, think, and grow together.”

Economics professor Zhen Liu from UB, who is passionate about community building and civic engagement, shared:
“New York has become our second hometown, and this kind of community connection is truly meaningful for people.”

Join us next time — bring your story, and let’s keep exchanging, laughing, and lifting each other!

We’re now recruiting co-hosts, interns, and youth volunteers (service hours can be approved). We appreciate your interest and contributions.
