Professor Lin Liu

Dr. Lin Liu is a board-certified pathologist with University at Buffalo Pathologists, Inc. She earned her medical degree from Beijing Medical University and later obtained a PhD in Biomedical Science from the University of Pennsylvania. With a strong foundation in both clinical medicine and scientific research, Dr. Liu brings a comprehensive and integrative perspective to patient care and medical education. She has also contributed to multiple biomedical publications and book chapters.

Beyond professional accomplishments, Dr. Lin Liu has a deep appreciation for nature and a lifelong curiosity about history, culture, religion, and the arts. She believes these diverse interests enrich her perspective on medicine and human health.

Dr. Liu is also a passionate advocate for community engagement and service. She actively participates in local organizations such as Buffalo Niagara Waterkeeper and AYLUS at Greater Buffalo, where she contributes to environmental stewardship and youth development. Her unique combination of biomedical expertise, cultural curiosity, and community involvement informs her thoughtful approach to supporting children with special needs and underserved minority communities.
