Michael has a deep bond with his parents, grandparents, and the sister. His knowledgeable and loving elders nurtured his passion for exploring history and culture. Michael often remembers his mother telling him about the hardships and turbulence his family experienced as immigrants. These factors have subtly influenced Michael since his youth, shaping him into a gentle, kind, and deeply compassionate person. He is committed to supporting vulnerable populations, including students with special needs, diverse community members, newcomers, and individuals who experience social isolation or challenges with social skills. His academic training and hands-on experience demonstrate a strong commitment to providing inclusive, compassionate mental health and educational support.

Outside of his studies and work, Michael enjoys learning new languages, spending time with dogs, listening to music, and exploring cartoons and animation.
